Young Girl Sexually Assaulted At Revere Beach Bathhouse: Police

The teenager told police she was assaulted by a man while using an outdoor shower.

REVERE, MA — State Police have a heightened presence at Revere Beach after a young girl in her teens said she was sexually assaulted at the Shirley Ave. Bathhouse on Tuesday evening.

The girl told police a young adult male tried talking to her while she used an outdoor shower at the bathhouse around 7 p.m. When the girl tried to leave, he grabbed and sexually assaulted her, she said.

The girl escaped and told an adult family member at the beach after they already had left. The girl was brought to the State Police Barracks on Revere Beach, interviewed, and transported to a hospital to be examined.

He was wearing a bathing suit and no shirt at the time, but prior to that he may have been wearing a dark-colored tank top and black shorts and riding a mountain bike on and near the beach.
