Artist Series Concludes with Guest Exploring Where Art Meets Science

The final visit will take place April 29 at Marblehead High School.

The Visiting Artist Series has already welcomed a photographer, a graphic artist, and an illustrator/artist/cartoonist as speakers at Marblehead High School.

On April 29, the series will wrap up with a visit from Rebecca Kamen, an artist whose “work explores the nexus of art and science informed by wide ranging research into cosmology, history, philosophy, and various scientific fields,” according to her website.

The Visiting Artist Series was made possible by a grant from Friends of Marblehead Public Schools, Inc. According to that organization, the grant provided for four working, successful artists to visit MHS, ”who will demonstrate how the visual arts are present in diverse aspects of society and industry.”
