Build a Marblehead Dory at Redd's Pond Boatworks

Summer Boatbuilding at Redd's Pond Boatworks is a week-long workshop from July 9th- July 17th, Saturday-Sunday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

Ahoy Neighbors!

Would you be interested to learning how to build a wooden Boat in Marblehead?

We are looking forward to our third boatbuilding workshop at Redd’s Pond Boatworks. From July 9th to July 17th (8:00am-4:00pm), we are offering a week long course to build a Marblehead Dory-Skiff. This Chamberlain design is a seaworthy and versatile boat that accepts an outboard motor. It has ample seating and can also be adapted as as sailboat. It is an excellent design to learn with as it combines elements of much larger boats into a small, quickly built, easily handled boat.
