The Johnny Ray Band at The Beacon this Saturday night

The Johnny Ray Band will return to entertain at The Beacon in Marblehead for a very special event this Saturday night, December 13th, in honor of Michael Havens and the Christmas toy drive he started over a decade ago. The Michael Havens Toy Drive will be hosted by Michael's brother Curt, who, along with Mr. Ray and Chef Edgar Alleyne, is also a partner at The Beacon. Locations are set up all over Marblehead to donate unwrapped gifts, including Mud Puddle Toys on Washington St., which is offering 20% off on toys for the drive. The community is encouraged to drop off gifts until Thursday, December 11th. The gifts will be picked up and distributed by the Marblehead Fire Department to less fortunate children.

Saturday's event will begin when the Beacon opens for dinner at 5PM. Festivities like raffles and prizes will start at 6PM, and live entertainment will start around 8PM. Guests are highly encouraged to make reservations in advance online at thebeaconmarblehead.com.
