Powering Flight: Build Circuits to Make Things Fly for Teens

Powering Flight: Build Circuits to Make Things Fly for Teens

Event Details

Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant St, Marblehead, MA, 01945
More info here

Teens will explore how electricity can power motion by building simple circuits with Snap Circuits. By connecting motors, wires, and switches, participants will create a spinning device that can launch a small fan into the air or propel a paper airplane. The Snap Circuits sets are used during the program so participants can experiment with different setups and see how small changes affect whether the circuit works.

Space is limited to 10 participants ages 13-19, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/teen-flight. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.

Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation.
