Caller Suspects Woman of Cutting Down Town Tree

At 8:17 a.m., a woman reported that her tax return had been filed fraudulently.

At 2:29 p.m., a caller reported receiving an IRS scam phone call.

At 3:16 p.m., a woman was reported for cutting down a town tree. The woman told police she was merely cutting back ground cover, which she does annually.

At 4:19 p.m., a woman reported that her neighbor’s band plays too loudly.

At 5:07 p.m., a person reported losing her purse.

At 8:18 p.m., a three-vehicle crash occurred. At least one reporting party said it appeared an altercation might have been taking place. Police didn’t note any particular problem upon arrival.

At 9:32 p.m., a caller reported possibly hearing a gunshot in the area of Elm Street and Evans Road.
