Car Into Snowbank Leads to OUI Arrest

Friday, Feb. 6
At 8:13 a.m., a caller complained that his front door was frozen shut.
At 8:23 a.m., multiple vehicles were tagged for over-staying the 72-hour limit.

At 12:23 p.m., North Shore Medical Center reported that a patient at Union Hospital had threatened a doctor.
At 2:12 p.m., a man called to report a snow dispute with a neighbor.

At 2:20 p.m., an oil truck struck a parked car.
At 9:38 p.m., a neighbor reported water pouring from the house next door. Authorities found a major water problem on the second floor with significant damage on the first floor.
Saturday, Feb. 7
At 1:31 p.m., a woman turned in a pager she’d found in a snowbank.
At 9:05 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle had been sitting in the street and idling for an hour. An officer was unable to locate the owner, but secured the vehicle and returned with the keys to the station. The brother of the owner came to the station to pick up the keys because the owner had been drinking and couldn’t drive. Police told him the owner had to come for the keys once she was sober.
At 11:41 p.m., George H. V. Schofield, 33, of Marblehead was arrested after police responded to a report of a car into a snowbank. Schofield was charged with OUI liquor.
