MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.

Tue., March 29

  • 9:05 a.m. Credit card fraud reported on Dodge Road.
  • 12:25 p.m. A woman on Naugus Avenue said someone from China "hijacked" her computer and demanded $300 to turn it back over.
  • 4:25 p.m. A package was stolen on Bonad Road.
  • 4:57 p.m. A child was struck by a car on Smith Street. The child was not hurt and did not require hospitalization.
  • 6:45 p.m. A man on Old Salem Road said someone drove on his lawn then took off.
