Cookbook War Escalates

There is something going on involving harassment and French cuisine in Marblehead.

Last week, a Julia Child cookbook was thrown from a car through the open window of a home on Bayview Road.

The Bayview Road man reported that there was no damage from the cookbook and that he was going to keep it.

On Monday morning, a Bayview Road resident came into the police station to report that someone had left a harassing note and a cookbook near the window of his house.

The note stated “I hope you enjoy your French cuisine may I recommend the Beef Bourguignon.”

The note was signed from the Cookbook Clan.

Police were dispatched to the home to investigate.
