Monday, Feb. 22
At 4:40 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Smith and Pleasant Streets. One person was transported to Salem Hospital and one driver was issued a citation.
At 4:52 p.m., a member of the Clifton Association stated that he found a chair that had been discarded in the parking lot of Preston Beach. He was advised to contact the Highway Department to see if they could take the chair away.
