Dr. Jefferson Prince, Director of Child Psychiatry at Mass General for Children at NSMC, featured at hospital fundraising event.
Join Jefferson Prince, MD, as he discusses what you need to know to best care for the emotional health of your children, tweens and teens. This lecture will cover strategies, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), that teach children and their families how to recognize and cope with stressful situations, increase energy and well-being, as well as cultivate health and happiness.
The event, presented by Merry Mixers, Friends of MassGeneral for Children, will take place at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Marina from 5:30 pm until 7pm. Tickets are $20 and include a brief reception following the discussion. Please purchase tickets online at www.merrymixers.org.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the MassGeneral for Children at North Shore Medical Center. Merry Mixers is a 501-c3 not-for-profit organization that raises funds to benefit MassGeneral for Children at NSMC.
