Drunk Woman in 'Fetal Position on the Ground' Placed in Protective Custody

Friday, July 10

At 8:34 a.m., a caller complained that a trailer parked across from their house for five days was blocking their view. The trailer was legally parked, but the owner agreed to move it when told of the complaint.

At 12:24 p.m., a elderly driver was reportedly parked in the middle of the road. That person was looking for an address.

At 3:30 p.m., a woman reported that she stopped to allow a child to cross the street on a bike and a car illegally passed her on the right, striking the child. No transport or injuries were logged and the driver was cited for passing on the right.

At 4:39 p.m., a caller reported their car was keyed July 5.

At 6:38 p.m., a neighbor dispute involving trespassing was reported.

Saturday, July 11

At 12:48 a.m., a caller complained that fisherman on the dock had a generator running and it was causing a disturbance. Officers could not locate anyone matching the description.

At 12:54 a.m., a caller reported a beer can was thrown at his vehicle from the passenger side of a passing vehicle. He reported the next morning that there was damage done.

At 9:38 p.m., police placed a 38-year-old Marblehead woman in protective custody after receiving reports of a drunk woman who was “out of control.” She left the house and police received another report in which the woman was in the “fetal position on the ground.”
