MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.
Thur., May 5
- 7:52 a.m. A woman on Barnard Hawkes Court said her car was missing. It turned out her daughter stole it.
- 2:41 p.m. A Humphrey Street resident reported he was the victim of a Treasury Department scam.
- 2:44 p.m. A solicitor was reported on Stramski Way.
- 2:53 p.m. A woman on Commercial Street said a man was thrown off a porch and acting aggressive. The man was hospitalized.
- 3:32 p.m. A scooter was stolen from the Marblehead Veterans Middle School.
- 7:18 p.m. A homeless man from Salem was taken into protective custody after a disturbance on Pleasant Street.

- 10:28 a.m. Salem police officers served a warrant on Broughton Road.

- 8:39 a.m. A man on Garfield Street said someone poured flour and silly string on his vehicle.
- 4:47 p.m. A Baldwin Road resident said she was upset her neighbor put furniture on her property.
- 11:41 p.m. A man was knocked out in a fight on Pleasant Street and hospitalized.
