Lees-on Life Hosts Healthy Open House for Marblehead Christmas Walk

Families Invited to Stop in for Nourishing Treats & Tower Garden Demonstration

The Lees-On Life Wellness Center will host an open house at 78 Front Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 5 during the Marblehead Christmas Walk.

Wellness Center owner Lolli Leeson invites families to come in for complimentary fruit skewer snacks, a cup of healthy hot chocolate and a fun, educational and hands-on activity for kids. Visitors can also enter a raffle to win $25 gift certificates to Eat Well Kitchen in Marblehead.

Tower Garden demonstrations by Farmer Bob throughout the open house will teach families about an innovative way to garden, even during the coldest months of the year. These vertical gardens can grow inside or outside, use no soil and take up little space. Visitors will get to see, smell, touch and taste the fresh herbs and produce from the Tower Garden.

We want to show families that healthy habits don’t have to take a back seat during the holidays.

Kids love the tower garden because it engages them in a fun, hands-on experience that inspires them to learn about science, health and food. They take a lot of pride in eating the food they’ve grown on their own.
