Marblehead School of Ballet to Give Back During Community Appreciation Week and Marblehead Christmas Walk
Celebrate the holiday season at the Marblehead School of Ballet during Community Appreciation Week festivities from December 4-10.

This year, the Marblehead School of Ballet (MSB) celebrates the holiday season by continuing a tradition of giving back to the area during Community Appreciation Week from December 4-10. The weeklong festivities at the school will be held in conjunction with the Marblehead Christmas Walk from December 3-6. During this special week, members of the public are invited to come and try a dance class. Parents and guardians, who are considering dance training and opportunities for their children, are welcome to visit the school.
“The Marblehead School of Ballet has been a part of this community for 44 years. We like to give back to the community that has supported us all these years. During Community Appreciation Week, we welcome newcomers into the Marblehead School of Ballet family,” said Paula K. Shiff, Director of MSB.
From December 4-10, the MSB is providing these special offers to the public. Guests may come and watch a class. A new student may attend any class for only five dollars. Students who are currently enrolled in the school may bring a friend to class for the exclusive rate of five dollars only during this week. Interested dancers or parents may arrange a complimentary consultation with Ms. Shiff to discuss their dance plans and also learn more about the school’s 44-year history.

“Ballet helps keep your mind sharp, as you quickly memorize combinations and then move using them,” said Judy Moynihan, a long-term ballet student at the school.
Individuals interested in attending a class or seeking more information are asked to call in advance the school’s office at 781-631-6262. For a class schedule, visit the school online. Follow the organization on Facebook, check photos on Pinterest and get updates on Twitter.
