Multiple Housebreaks in Londonderry Road Neighborhood

Police urge residents to keep their doors locked.

Marblehead, MA - The new year brought several house breaks in the Londonderry Road neighborhood late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, according to police.

During that timeframe, two houses in the area were entered while the residents were asleep.

The break-ins were quiet, and the homeowners did not hear anyone in their houses, they only noticed the breaks when they discovered items missing from their homes.

Taken during the break-ins were various electronics, money and prescription medications, according to police. It is unknown how much time the suspect(s) spent inside the houses.

While police continue to investigate, they recommend that everyone lock their doors and be alert to the comings and goings in their neighborhood.
