Numerous Vehicle Break-Ins Reported

At 7:31 a.m., a caller reported his two vehicles were broken into, but it didn’t appear anything was taken.

At 7:52 a.m., a caller found a purse in his driveway and said it appeared someone had gone through it. The purse was returned to its owner by police.

At 8:47 a.m., a caller reported that a woman who appeared to be upset was standing near the roadway at Lafayette and West Shore Drive and holding something wrapped in a blanket. Authorities didn’t find anyone matching the description.

At 8:48 a.m., a caller reported her vehicle had been broken into overnight and the registration was stolen.

At 10:56 a.m., a caller reported her vehicle was entered overnight. She didn’t believe anything was taken, but she found a cell phone that didn’t belong to her on her front porch.

At 1:27 p.m., an unlocked vehicle was entered overnight on Evans Road. About $20-$30 in loose change was stolen.

At 1:43 p.m., another vehicle break was reported on Evans Road.

At 2:16 p.m., a vehicle break-in was reported on Jersey Street.

At 4:05 p.m., a car was reported keyed.
