Police: Disturbance in the Force; Warrant Arrest

Sunday, Jan. 10

At 11:31 a.m., the highway department reported that there was a minor splashover on the causeway on Ocean Avenue.

At 12:37 p.m., there was a report of a hit and run accident involving a parked car on Pleasant Street.

At 12:57 p.m., a tree fell on a truck on Pilgrim Road.

At 1:42 p.m., a caller on Elm Street reported that there were people across from her house harassing her with some sort of device like an antenna that creates Star Wars effects. Police spoke with the other family and the instrument was taken from the young boy.

At 3:35 p.m., there was a hit and run accident on Tedesco Street.

At 4:34 p.m., there was a report of a tree down on Humphrey Street.

At 11:05 p.m., there was a request from the Peabody Police Department to check on a vehicle on Beacon Street that was possibly involved in a hit and run.

Monday, Jan. 11

At 12:04 a.m., police got a call about a parking issue on Dartmouth Road.

At 12:54 a.m., police arrested Jamaal Ameer Reese, 24, of 104 Green Street in Marblehead on a warrant.
