Police: DPW is Busy; Stolen Backpack

Sunday, Dec. 27

At 10:58 a.m., there was a report of a loose tree branch causing a possible safety hazard on Atlantic Avenue. The DPW was notified.

At 12:39 p.m., there was a dead squirrel on the sidewalk on Beverly Avenue. The DPW was notified.

At 2:08 p.m., there was a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Westledge Road. A backpack was reported stolen.

At 6:39 p.m., the general manager of a business on Atlantic Avenue reported that there was trash being thrown in the alley behind the business.

At 10:17 p.m., there was a report of a car tire slashed on Hines Court. It was later determined that the tire had blown out, and was not slashed.
