Police: Locked in the Bedroom; No Holiday Tow

Wednesday, Dec. 23
At 8:01 a.m., there was a motor vehicle blocking three garage doors on Lime Street. The caller wanted to find the owner and not have the vehicle towed so close to the holidays.
At 9:29 a.m., there was a minor motor vehicle accident on Pleasant Street.

At 10:29 a.m., there was a report of documents and credit cards lost on Bessom Street.
At 11:23 a.m., police arrested Zachary A. Ehlert, 28, of 7 Commercial Street in Marblehead and charged him with larceny over $250 and vandalism of property.

At 3:27 p.m., a caller reported that $250 was taken from his house while he was not home. He believed it may have been taken by his wife, who was now gone.
At 8:41 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious man looking into the rear window of a house on Phillips Street. It was determined to be the owner of the house.
Thursday, Dec. 24
At 5:52 a.m., police got a call from a couple who had locked themselves into their bedroom due to ongoing renovations while their two-year-old was crying in another room. A neighbor was able to help them get out.
