Police: Missing Urns; Home Burglary

Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

At 9:04 a.m., police arrested Gary Lentini, 55, of 17 Linden Street in Marblehead on a warrant.

At 9:12 a.m., a woman on Washington Street reported that someone had taken urns from in front of her house. She said she had a yard sale on Saturday, and after the yard sale, she placed a cabinet if front of the house with a ‘free cabinet’ sign. She believes someone may have mistakenly taken the urns and did not want to file an official report, she just wanted the urns returned if someone take them by mistake.

At 11:58 a.m., there was a report of a hit and run to a parked car on Washington Street.

At 2:57 p.m., wind knocked down a tree branch on Green Street, damaging a parked car.

At 5:01 p.m., a Franklin Street resident reported that when she and her family returned from vacation, they found their house burglarized. The son stated that it smelled like people had been smoking pot upstairs. The caller said that several youths had been seen near the unlocked garage before they left.
