Police: Odd Class Reunion; Speeding Complaint

Wednesday, Dec. 2

At 9:34 a.m., there was a resident requesting traffic speed enforcement between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Old Salem Road. The caller said there were cars traveling up to 40 mph in an area with kids and animals and a posted speed limit of 20 mph.

At 9:53 a.m., a Green Street Court resident reported that she could not get her phone out of emergency mode.

At 10:29 a.m., there was a report of an IRS scam call to a residence on Green Street.

At 11:53 a.m., a person on Green Street reported being followed and stalked.

At 1:12 p.m., there was a minor motor vehicle accident on Bessom Street.

At 1:14 p.m., a vehicle was tagged for a crosswalk violation on Humphrey Street.

At 2:26 p.m., there was a report that some kids saw two armed men at a pharmacy on Atlantic Avenue. Police investigated and determined that it was two armed guards for the ATM and that there was nothing suspicious.

At 6:24 p.m., a caller reported that two men came to his door looking for a class reunion on Neptune Avenue. The caller said the two men were not Marblehead residents and that one of the men told him he used to shovel snow “back in the day.”
