Police: Suspicious Trash Can Activity; Erratic Operator

Excerpts from the Marblehead Police Department log.

Monday, Nov. 23

At 7:59 a.m., someone had left trash cans next to a building on Pleasant Street in an attempt to get on the roof of the building.

At 2:57 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Beacon and Green Streets. A green Toyota Camry-type car reportedly left the scene of the accident.

At 7:17 p.m., a caller on Pleasant Street reported that there was a car operating erratically and causing traffic to back up.

At 8:46 p.m., there was a report of a dangerous manhole cover that had caused a flat tire on Seaview Avenue. A traffic cone was placed on the manhole.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

At 4:47 a.m., a caller on Highland Terrace reported that someone had banging on glass for the past half hour and believed someone may have locked themselves out of the building.
