MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.
Mon., May 9
- 8:09 a.m. A resident of the Maple Street area complained about families who were crossing the street without using a crosswalk. She was upset that the parents were "putting their children in jeopardy."
- 4:40 p.m. A Cedar Street resident said someone stole six bags of sands supporting his basketball hoop.

- 2:32 p.m. A callre reported a road rage incident on Smith street. One of the cars was a blue hatchback that "looked like a jelly bean"and the other was a 1990s model-era vehicle, the caller said.

- 12:40 a.m. A suspicious van was reported on Cedar Street.
