Tired Uber Driver, Vandalism, IRS Scam: Marblehead Police Log

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent until convicted.

Sun., May 1

• 8:01 a.m. A caller on Broughton Road reported a man sleeping in a vehicle. It turned out to be a tired Uber driver.
• 3:40 p.m. A Humphrey Street residente said someone vandalized his fence.

Mon., May 2

• 12:54 p.m. An IRS scam was reported on Front Street.
• 3:46 p.m. A 59-year-old Marblehead woman was taken into protective custody.
• 4:02 p.m. Brown water was reported in an apartment complex on Creesy Street.
