Woman Reportedly 'Throwing Stuff,' 'Screaming Obscenities' Over Plowing

At 7:56 a.m., a manhole cover was reported to be off at Shetland and Brook.

At 8:27 a.m., the Highway Department reported a woman in the area of High Street “throwing stuff and screaming obscenities.” She appeared to have gone in side by the time police arrived. The log notes she seemed to have been upset about snow being pushed back into her driveway.

At 1:20 p.m., a caller reported a strong outdoor odor of natural gas. An investigation showed that it appeared to be a broken gas line to an old lantern.

At 2:51 p.m., a manhole cover was reported missing on Trinity Road.

At 7:30 p.m., a town truck was involved in a minor fender bender.
