Breaking: A car accident on I-495 south is causing delays.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — UPDATE: 11:43 a.m.: Route 495 southbound is closed temporarily to make way for a medical helicopter at the scene of a crash.
Original post: A crash on Route 495 around 11:30 a.m. on Friday is causing delays.
The crash occurred on Route 495 southbound, just north of Route 290 in Marlborough. The center and right lanes are closed, said Massachusetts State Police.
