Firefighters Battle Large Blaze In Marlborough
One firefighter was hospitalized, according to the Marlborough Fire Department.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — The cause of a fire in Marlborough on Friday morning is being investigated.
The Marlborough Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 610 Lincoln St. at 10:20 a.m. While there were no civilian injuries, one firefighter was hospitalized for evaluation, Assistant Fire Chief Jeffrey Gogan told Patch.
Seven people were displaced from the fire, and several pets died, according to the Metrowest Daily News.

After arriving, fire crews saw heavy fire from two windows and second floor. The crews made an aggressive attack to extinguish the fire, Gogan said.
He said the conditions were difficult due to cold, wind and ice.
The Marlborough Fire Department said it received mutual aid assistance at the fire scene from Southborough, Northborough, Hudson, Sudbury, Berlin, and Westborough Fire Departments. Hopkinton and Framingham Fire provided station coverage.
