History of Ward Park And 4 Little Empires of Hayden Meadow: From The Marlborough Historical Society Archives

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Ward Park is located between Post Road and Fairmount Hill, and the area along with its surrounding neighborhoods are considered to "have witnessed the march of American history."

William Ward, Col. Luke Drury, Samuel Boyd, Daniel Hayden, the Colonial Army, and even some National Champions are all part of the story that Paul Brodeur, a Marlborough Historical Society Trustee and lifelong resident of the Ward Park neighborhood, presented back in 2011.
