ICYMI: One Taken Into Custody, Others Sought, In Marlborough Home Invasion

Several masked man forced their way into a home, brandished guns, and demanded property.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A man was taken into custody who was being sought after by Marlborough police for connection to a home invasion.

After posting a BOLO on Jan. 1, Jonathan Pinho (pictured) was located on Jan. 4.

Police responded around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 1 to a residence regarding a past home invasion. The residents told police that after opening the door for a known acquaintance, 4 to 5 unknown males went into the house and demanded property. All were masked except for Pinho, and the others have yet to be identified.

The victims said that several of the assailants brandished weapons, including a handgun. The suspects were only in the residence for a short amount of time, stole a small amount of property from the victims and fled the area in a white sedan. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Due to the seriousness of the incident and possible presence of weapons, the department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating these individuals.
