Level 3 Sex Offender Newly Working in Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Under Massachusetts law, police departments are obligated to inform residents of a newly-registered sex offender in town.

Everett Bower, 44, is listed as living at 1541 Middlesex St., Apt. 23, Lowell, and listed as working at 39 Briarwood Lane, Apt. 4, Marlborough. Bower, a Level 3 offender, was convicted on Dec. 6, 2006, of five counts of rape and abuse of a child; one count on Jan. 22, 2007, of dissemination of matter harmful to minors; and 7 counts of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older, convicted on Jan. 22 of 2007; and 2 counts of indecent assault and battery on child under the age of 14, convicted on Jan. 22, 2007.

This person is not wanted by the police.
