Why did you decide to run for another term in 2021?

I decided to run again with the agreement from my family, to continue the opportunity the voters have granted me to serve our great community and to offer my professional background in public health, education and public administration. I enjoy being a voice for our community members and will always put the best interest of our City as my number one goal.

You're running unopposed this year. Does that concern you, and what's one way the city might be able to get more citizens involved in local politics?

I always suggest that our community members get involved, may it be in the various government capacities or the many local charitable events and service clubs. I have been member of the Marlborough Rotary Club since 1984 and see groups of this type having a tremendous impact on our community needs and the schools, including scholarships and interaction on providing our students a reality fair that educates our students on budgeting their financial needs as they enter adulthood.

I hope to see more candidates in future elections to allow our community members more choices.

What's your top priority for the next term?
