Marlborough Man Charged With Breaking Into E.L. Harvey

A Marlborough man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into E.L. Harvey and Sons in the night.

A Marlborough man is facing multiple charges after police say he stole copper wire and tubing from E.L. Harvey and Sons in Westborough.

At 1:23 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13, Westborough police responded to a call for a break-in in progress at E.L. Harvey at 68 Hopkinton Road.

Officers arrived and matched the description of a 2004 Toyota Corolla with the called-in description. The driver was trying to leave with the lights turned off, said police.

Officer Brian Massey caught up with the driver at 50 Hopkinton Road, and with the assistance of two other officers, took him into custody. Inside the vehicle was more than $600 worth of copper tubing and wire.

The operator was identified at Byron E. Ordonez-Govea, 53, 29 Hildreth St., Marlborough, and he was arrested and charged with B&E at night time with intent to commit a felony, larceny in a building and receiving stolen property.

His arraignment in Westborough District Court is Tuesday morning.
