Marlborough Police: 2 Arrested for Shoplifting at Sears; Vandalism

Friday, Dec. 19
- At 7:48 a.m., police responded to suspicious activity, Concord Road residence
- At 8:14 a.m., a car crash occurred near the Wayside Country Store. No injuries.
- At 8:40 a.m., police responded to vandalism on Beach Street
- At 9:11 a.m., police responded to an auto theft, 410 Maple St.
- At 11:07 a.m., assistance from police was needed at the Jaworek Elementary School
- At 4:53 p.m., police responded to a call reporting shoplifting at Sears. Janida E. Tavera, 20, 15 Russell St., 1R, Worcester, was arrested and charged with two counts of larceny over $250 by a single scheme. Benny N. Santos-Vasquez, 25, 51 Everand St., Worcester, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 by a single scheme (two counts)
- At 10:09 p.m., police responded to a call about a missing person, Framingham Road
Saturday, Dec. 20
- At 1:09 a.m., police responded to a disturbance at Sully’s Pub
- At 8:19 a.m., police responded to a report of vandalism, 63 Crestwood Lane
- At 1:18 p.m., police responded to fraud, 59 Harvard St.
- At 8:49 p.m., police responded to a report of a missing person, Bell Wheeler Hill Apartments
