Provost, Ramon and Sullivan studied and completed mock tests for weeks to prepare for the event, the school said. They dedicated several days to working on their news broadcasting production presentation, which was showcased at the competition.

While all three of them qualified for the Nashville National Leadership Conference from May 6 to May 10, only Sullivan will compete.

The other two winners, Provost and Ramon, will have conflicts with sports teams and upcoming AP exams, Marlborough School's communications coordinator Esmerelda Casas told Patch.
