Train Fatally Strikes Person in Southborough
Transit Police say a male thought to be about 20 was struck early Sunday morning.

A CSX freight train struck and killed someone in Southborough early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Transit Police responded to the Southborough Commuter Rail Station around 1:25 a.m. for a report of a person struck by a train. They discovered someone, a male believed to be about 20 years old, dead at the scene.
A preliminary report suggests the male was trespassing on the right of way when struck by a CSX freight train in the vicinity of Southville Road, police said.
