This Weekend: Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day (Including Prescriptions) In Marlborough
Dispose of all your unwanted hazardous waste, and prescriptions, safely.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Here's a great way to get some fall cleaning done.
On Saturday, Sept. 30, the City of Marlborough and the Town of Hudson hosts a household hazardous waste collection day. Marlborough and Hudson are urged to return hazardous household items between 9 a.m. and 1 pm at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 860 Boston Post Road East in Marlborough.
In addition to hazardous items, residents will also be able to return unwanted and unused prescription drugs.

Mayor Vigeant said in a statement, “We are pleased to offer this opportunity for residents to responsibly and
effectively dispose of old, unwanted products. Please use this day to clean out your garages or
basements, rather than putting these products in regular trash where they do not belong.”
Items that can be dropped off include old car batteries and fluids, flammables, computers, household
cleaners, pool chemicals, oil based paints, and pesticides. Some items will not be accepted, including
latex paint, large appliances, radioactive materials, and tires.
