Stranded Martha's Vineyard Driver Calls AAA, Gets Wallet Stolen Instead
Oak Bluffs charged tow truck driver Brett Geddis with larceny and drug possession.

MARTHA’S VINEYARD — Police said a Martha’s Vineyard driver who called AAA for help had her wallet stolen instead.

Brett Geddis, 25, of Edgartown, was charged with larceny and drug possession.
Police said a Pondview Drive resident called AAA for assistance Wednesday morning after he car wouldn’t start. Geddis arrived in a tow truck from Pilgrim Auto, said he couldn’t start the car, then drove off, police said. When the woman went to retrieve her wallet, she said it was gone, police said.
