Big Blue Advances with Victory over Hopkinton
Medfield Boys' Varsity Basketball wins 74-49 in Division 2 Central Quarterfinal Semifinals this Sunday 1pm at WPI vs. Marlboro
The Big Blue won at home tonight over Hopkinton74-49 at home in the Warrior Dome in front of a packed house. Sophomore Jake Dubbs led the Big Blue with 18 points including 3 three pointers and 3 steals. Junior Chris McGrory scored 15 and had 10 rebounds. Senior Captain John Williams also scored in double digits with 13 points while shooting 6 for 6 from the free throw line. The Big Blue had a well balanced offensive attack with 9 players scoring. Captains Jack Madej and Evan Howells played well defensively.
The Big Blue have one day to prepare for Marlboro as they play at WPI in Worcester in the Semifinals of the Division 2 Central Division.
