Big Blue Defeats Westwood in Overtime
The Medfield Big Blue remained undefeated by defeating Westwood 63-61 at home last night - record now 4-0.
Senior Captain John Williams (in picture far right) scored 28 points and had nine rebounds to lead the Medfield High School Boys’ Basketball team to victory in a classic matchup against the Westwood Wolverines. Chris McGrory had a solid performance for the Big Blue with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Also playing well for Medfield were Captain Evan Howells ( in picture far left) at point guard with 9 points (3 three pointers) and Captain Jack Madej (in picture second from left) with 11 points including a some key free throws to seal the win.
Medfield is now 4-0 and will head to Hanover for a Holiday Tournament. The first game of the tourney will be against Fairhaven on Sunday at 5pm at Hanover.
