Here's a look at the Medfield police log for August 10 and August 11. 

Saturday, August 10

12:55 a.m., Main Street. Police stopped a car and issued a verbal warning for defective equipment. 

10:19 a.m., Nebo Street. E911 caller said an older woman dressed in black was calling for her granddaughter. Police spoke to the woman who had found her granddaughter. 

3:42 p.m., Park Street. Caller reported suspicious activity: a man going house to house doing a tree survey. Police spoke with the man who is doing the survey for the town. 

6:07 p.m., station. A man turned in a wallet that he found. 

8:16 p.m., Route 27 turnaround across from Hospital Road. Environmental police reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. Police said no one was around. 

10:28 p.m., Main Street. E911 caller asked for to be taken to the hospital for back pain. Medfield Ambulance took him to MetroWest Medical Center. 

11:05 p.m., Wilkens Glen. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked by a dumpster, a man got out and took off on a bike. Police said the car was registered in Billerica but there was no problem. 

Sunday, August 11

8 a.m., 10:10 a.m., 12:09 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic enforcement at St. Edward's Church.

8:36 a.m., Main Street. Traffic enforcement at the United Church of Christ.

12:58 p.m., Pound Street. E911 caller asked an ambulance to take him to the hospital because he was having trouble with his catheter. He was taken to Norwood Hospital.

2:32 p.m., West Mill Street. Police noticed a suspicious vehicle behind a business. The man said he just dropped off a trailer. 

2:35 p.m., Pleasant Street. Caller asked to speak to the Animal Control officer because his child was bitten by a cat on Aug. 10.
