Celebrating "Eve Potts Day" on her 90th birthday!
Beloved friend and Medfield resident, Eve Potts was surprised with the news that her 90th birthday was declared "Eve Potts Day" in Medfield.
Eve Potts Surprised at The Center on her 90th Birthday!
June 10th marked the 90th birthday for Medfield resident, retired Middle School home economics teacher, volunteer extraordinaire and beloved friend of many, Eve Potts. A few of her close friends decided that she needed to be celebrated and worked behind the scenes with Selectman Pete Peterson and Town Administrator, Kristine Trierweiler to pull it off.
On Monday, the Center was filled with people at 2pm, as MPD Chief Guerette spoke to the crowd, about her role and her mission as Medfield's newest chief. At 2:45, she turned the mic over to Trierweiler, who read a Proclamation exclaiming June 10, 2019 as "Eve Potts Day"!
The surprise was real!

Potts' friends, Christa Thompson and Laurel Scotti were the co-conspirators and did a great job. She was surrounded by friends and her twin daughters were there to surprise her as well. She was presented with the Proclamation (text below) and a birthday cake was shared with everyone in attendance.
Happy 90th Birthday, Eve Potts and thanks for all you have done in Medfield over these 50 years as a resident.
