There’s nothing quite like a visit to NYC with the intention of exploring Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty and the 9-11 Memorial!
With that in mind, the Center at Medfield is pleased to announce a delightful day trip to the Big Apple on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

The trip is open to all and offers a smooth, relaxing bus trip, leaving the Center at Medfield at 6:30 a.m. and returning that night approximately 10:30 p.m. The trip offers a great opportunity to visit the Statue of Liberty, America’s Icon of Freedom which was completely restored in 1986 and continues to be one of America’s most popularly visited attractions. Along with a visit to Ellis Island, the Gateway to America which occupies a permanent place in America’s history and more than half of the immigrants entering the United States between 1892 and 1924 passed through its gates. The group will complete the tour with a visit to the very powerful 9-11 Memorial that memorializes all those who died in the 9-11 terrorist attacks.
This day trip is open to all community members, young and old who are interested in experiencing the history of what these three locations offer.
