Clark Town Proposal Appealed, Permit Could be Delayed

Approval by the Medfield Zoning Board of Appeals for the Clark Tavern's renovation has been appealed, according to Medfield Selectmen Osler "Pete" Peterson. 

The project calls for the renovation of the building to include an old-time tavern, function space and a four-room bed & breakfast. The matter previously sparked an ongoing conversation on Medfield Patch among local residents and readers, and an online petition was established in support of the project.

Such an appeal can delay the permit for the project for up to a year, or until the court can conduct a trial, Peterson wrote on his Medfield02052 blog Wednesday.
