Give the Gift of Reading to Children...
Join the United Church of Christ Medfield and Park Street Books to give the gift of reading to the children of Pine Ridge Reservation. UCC Medfield and Park Street Books are hosting a book drive for a number of schools on the Reservation.
You, too, can help make a difference by signing up to purchase a book(s) on the list, purchase the book at Park Street Books for a 20% discount or other booksellers, and bring the book to the lobby at UCC Medfield. On October 28th the book drive will end and the books will be sent by Park Street Books to the schools on the Reservation.

Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is home to the Oglala Sioux Tribe with an estimated population of close to 40,000. The reservation is large, and its needs immense, commensurate with grinding poverty. Unemployment is over 80%, the weather is extreme, and families struggle
