Current and Former Warrant Committee Members Endorse Mike Marcucci for Selectman

As current and former members of Medfield's Warrant Committee we are writing to extend our enthusiastic endorsement of Mike Marcucci’s candidacy for the Board of Selectmen in the upcoming Medfield election. We have all had the opportunity to work extensively with Mike during his tenure on the Warrant Committee. During that time we have all come to recognize and respect Mike’s solid business discipline in reviewing town operations and budgets, along with his ready willingness to consider all sides of issues before taking a stand. Mike will be a tremendous addition to the town’s Board of Selectmen, particularly at this time when the town is facing challenging issues as it plans for how best to use the recently acquired State Hospital property and, more generally, as the town faces a wide range of economic and municipal development issues throughout the town.

Mike’s experience on the Medfield Warrant Committee has enabled him to develop a solid understanding of town operations and town finance. This understanding will serve him and the town well in his service as a Selectman. His background as a lawyer is a further important capability that will undoubtedly enhance his impact as a Selectman, particularly in areas like zoning regulations, 40B housing requirements, town contracts, and legislative activities. Mike brings a keen intellect to issues, but he also maintains a consistent emphasis on respect and open-mindedness toward others, all of which strongly contributes to improving the overall results achieved by the groups with which he works.

As we have worked with Mike and gotten to know him well, we know that Mike is deeply committed to the town of Medfield, and to helping Medfield be the best town it can possibly be. The town will be well-served with Mike Marcucci as a town Selectman.
