A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In 1938 the town’s Christmas exercises were sponsored by the selectmen and the community council and held at town hall. A large Christmas tree was placed and decorated in front of town hall. There was community singing of Christmas carols, led by Mrs. William Yee and music by the Beckwith Post 110 Junior Drum and Bugle Corps. Santa Claus arrived by airplane and presented each child with a bag of candy and an orange."
