A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In 1926 roadblocks were put in place on all roads in and out of town in an attempt to catch two wanted for the murder of a Dorchester police officer. Rumors had circulated that the two murderers were seen in Medfield. All automobiles and buses leaving or entering the town were stopped. Medfield police were assisted by Boston police in the search. The rumors, however, turned to be false as the two men were captured later that day in East Boston."
