A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"Police and fire records for the year 1926 reported: 58 fires, including 25 chimney fires, six fires caused by passing trains, 17 grass fires, one automobile fire, seven building fires and one false alarm. From the police records: one assault and battery, ten charged with drunkenness, two cases of fornication, four violations of the liquor law, one case of illegitimacy, one case of possession of a revolver, one tramp removed from town, one case of non-support and two cases of destruction of public shade trees."
