A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"On August 23 1691, Medfield’s first minister, Rev. John Wilson, died. He had served the town since the beginning of Medfield’s settlement in 1651. He was replaced in 1695 by Rev. Joseph Baxter, who would minister to Medfield’s spiritual needs until 1744."
